Dave: So, Hollywood is going to resurrect the old ghosts of September 11 with this movie Flight 93. Have you heard about it?
Taylor: I’ve heard a lot about it and, you know, there’s a lot of backlash because, you know, apparently, you can’t really, ah, make a gigantic Hollywood movie about a topic that only so recently happened, that, ah, affected so many millions of Americans. It’s a touchy topic.
Dave: Right, and I don’t know how they’re going about presenting the scenario, but it’s focusing on the flight that crashed in Pennsylvania, right?
Taylor: Mm hm.
Dave: So, from that standpoint, it’s pretty neutral because no landmarks were hit.
Taylor: Right!
Dave: But, at the same time, like you said, I think it’s too soon for someone to try and capitalize on that tragedy.
Taylor: Right.

United 93 shows what happened inside the plane that crashed in a Pennsylvania field. Passengers on this flight had seen news footage of the other hijacked planes crashing into buildings, so they decided to try to overpower the hijackers to save their own lives. This movie is about what they did, what went right, and what went wrong with their plan.
September 11 is still a painful day for many people. Some critics have said that it is too soon to release a movie like United 93. What do you think?
